Everything you’ll ever need to do can be done right in vlc including ripping and burning.
Performance is good; i'm able to watch my bluray movies via vlc with no problems at all.
The cable is detachable, which is an enormous plus.
I hate the gloss finish because of fingerprints, but doesn’t matter much, since my studio is usually dim and chill, and you can’t see them.

You must make sure that your vlc region code is set properly

While the device includes a usbc compatible cable the port on the device is a usb microb superspeed port so youll need to use the included very short cable to connect with it
