So this is just to let you know, yes you can trust it and buy it- even if its so cheap.
It was on sale and cost just a bit more than a standard oral thermometer and i needed something that was safe to use with a baby.

This item came in a crushed box,barelt taped together.
It comes with a box of 20, but you have to have one on for it to work, so just a heads up.
Just pop on the lens cover and put it in the ear, press the button and you're done!

It’s not uncommon for one ear to read higher than the other but i have found the average readings similar to what we get with our other thermometer

I do wish the readout screen had a backlight option so you could read it in the dark but i didn’t feel it necessary to pay significantly more for a more advanced model just for that one feature

I don’t care for the little hygiene shields i think they are called lenses or filters that are required for use

If you could just sanitize this between uses in the same way as an oral thermometer instead of dealing with those pesky plastic shields it would have 5 stars

It does seem to be accurate and and an inaccurate thermometer or any other measuring device isnt worth having
