Pros & Cons
Pros
The next/previous * work on youtube if you're on a playlist, even if playing on a browser tab that's not active. The audio roller and mute button just above the media keys are also handy to have. The cherry speed switches are something really satisfyi... Read More
These keycaps have a subtle bumpy texture to them. The keys are audible but not super loud.
Corsair k70 rgb pro is a top-notch wired mechanical gaming keyboard. The customizable rgb lighting looks stunning. There's a brightness button that switches between 5 brightness levels and off.
Cons
Software frequently glitches, fails, and hogs resources on the computer. Corsair's godawful software insists it is white when i have red blaring in my face. Corsair support is garbage!
It just randomly stops working. It just freezes. Windows stops recognizing it. Disabling the keyboard and enabling it doesn't help. Plugged into 2 different computers and got the same response.
The shrill, loud, metal-on-metal ping noise makes this keyboard totally unusable. It drives me crazy, with an audible high pitch noise even from a few feet away. This is a major issue with most mechanical keyboards that used to not be there.
All the photos have an led flashlight shining on it, which means it will show you more dust than your eyes typically would notice under normal lighting. On the second, lighting is completely random.
The keys are large and clunky with a lot of distance between them and have a plasticy, cheap feel. Most of keys (>80%) have those more or less spring pinging noise.

I like the keys, they are hard, textured, sturdy keycaps.
This is my third keyboard i have bought, spilled coffee on 6 year old keyboard completely rendering i’d dead.
I've been buying k70 keyboards for ~7 years and for some reason this one has a stupidly sensitive spacebar.
Price
All that being said, i would 100% recommend this keyboard if you're looking in this price range.
I originally had the razer blackwidow v4, which was around $300.
Was really hesitant on purchasing because of the price but i caught it when it was 70 off.
Shipping
I attempted to get new keycaps from corsair, who provided them for a minimal shipping fee, but that didn't resolve the issue.
Competitiveness
Compared to my k60 this one sits up significantly higher.
If you've used mechanical keyboards, you'll be familiar with the click-clackiness of the keys, but where this keyboard stands o... Read More
