Great magnetic closure and holds the ipad just right, and has some variability to it!
, though it is a little heavy, the protection is great and is well designed.
I was constantly scared that the bare ipad was going to slip out of my hands and get damaged due to its slippery construction.
The case has a cutout for the power button so turning on the ipad and fingerprint reading (touch id) are unaffected.

For the price this cannot be beat!
To me, it was well worth the money and if i wear this one out, i will be replacing it!

The case snaps over the edges of the ipad and will stay firmly in place but can be removed from the ipad with very little effort if necessary

The two volume buttons are covered by the case’s own rubberized buttons so it takes a little more force to actuate them than it would without the case

However if you plan to use the ipad with the magic keyboard you will have to remove the case from the ipad prior to mounting it on the keyboard because the clear plastic back panel of the case covers the three electrical contacts on the back of the ipad that connect with the keyboard
