Highlights
Quality
Data seems very accurate and the strap is comfortable and holds up.
Built strong, been using for running and mountain biking for years.
The app they have does not have live heart rate tracking, which is the main reason i bought this item.
Spoke with garmin support and they are sending me a new one since this one stopped working.
Price
That lower priced hrm was truly a pos.
Competitiveness
I told myself that i would never buy another garmin hrm after the failures and frustrations of the last two.
The strap is definitley more comfortable than the other brand and seems to have a little bit more room for larger runners as well.
I had a chest strap from the other big name brand previously and this is superior in every way, at least if you have a garmin watch.
