The mount isnt very heavy so i dont worry about it damaging the vents and the tabs on the base that rest on the outside of the vent nicely spread out the weight with my phone there

The charging works wellmy only complaint is the included usb cable for power is a bit short and the port on the base is in the center of the edge of the charger so its hard to manage the cable
