Coffee Extraction

Customers have mixed opinions on the coffee extraction process of the OXO Brew Rapid Brewer. While some are pleased with its ability to make great hot and cold concentrate, others find it complicated and problematic as the coffee runs through too fast, resulting in improper brewing.

Quality

Easy to use and made great cold brew

All you need is (not too fine) ground coffee, boiling waterand 5 mins of free time to allow it to drip.

Can’t speak to build quality as i’ve only had it for about a month and have used it a dozen times.

This is a rather smart and unique way of extracting coffee.

Price

(there are cheaper drippers @ ~$8, but they require filters: your call.

I needed to replace my 10 year old aeropress but didn’t want to spend $35-50 so i tried this.

Competitiveness

I think for the price it is a bit more interesting than the aeropress, especially often end up a bit messy with aeropress.

Would give 5 stars but it seems less efficient than other brew methods uses a ton of beans if tamped down to marked lines
