I bought a dimmer switch and use it with this light and works great!
The old mounting hardware of the old sconces lined up perfect with the mounting holes in this fixture.
Although the fixture is designed to be plugged in, i cut the end off and mounted on the wall in place of some old sconces.

Looks great, i added a cree multi color smart bulb for awesome effects that my daughter loves.

I wanted something to put near the rocker in the nursery that was more of a night light for breastfeeding or rocking my daughter to sleep
