In ear might be louder, with more bass, but the almost total loss in situational awareness is not worth the extra volume.
I have exercised in about every way possible whike wearing them and have sweated, a lot, and the earbuds did not budge, at all.

Update i started using them at 600 am is 300 pm and i still have 70 of battery life unlike the more expensive ones i ran out by 100pm
