Update dec 30,2021:i recieved this unit on sept 4 and have had it running constantly since.
Packaging/appearance
Packaging was excellent with custom foam inserts that were not "too over the top" in terms of bulkiness.
Initial setup of this unit was a breeze consisting of a brief unpacking and reviewing the accompanying literature.
Competitiveness
Possibly, this machine is manufactured under various names by competing companies.
In comparison, you can turn the dehumidifier on and off.
But, not giving up, i searched and compared similarly priced items on amazon and decided on the tenergy sorbi.
I have another air purifier (without a dehumidifying function) which is much quieter, so i guess i’m comparing the two.

At the same time since you have both the dehumidifier and air purifier on at the same time no doubt thats twice the energy use
