The hardened crystal has so far, resisted visible scratches under normal wear.
The band quality is also really good as i wear it all the time, even in the shower without it discoloring.
As a result of trying to wear it, the pin that holds the band to the watch got bent from the strain.
My thought is it succumbed to shock damage from me hitting my arm on something but it has stopped functioning none then less.
Price
I only give this product four stars, however, because i purchased this for $80 only to see it go down to $40 a day after i received it.
For the money, this watch is amazing.
Even though, the price has gone down a few dollars since i first ordered.
My overall impression of this watch is, "man, this is a lot of watch for under $50".

The watch came a week after i ordered it, which was okay for standard shipping.
But you get used to it fast and it's even faster telling the exact time.

The watch came well packaged and without any quality issues or damage.

Competitiveness
Now, i understand quartz is a more "reliable" and "practical" option, and its generally easier/cheaper to make.
I've always had a timex watch as a primary and/or backup regardless of what other brand watches i own.
If this could compete with something like a seiko 5 snk809; i think it'd blow it out of the water.
I do find the nightlight a bit sub-par compared to some other timex models.

I was only able to move the crown between date adjustment and time adjustment

I looked and there was a plastic c clip under it preventing it from going all the way down and stopping the watch from working

The plastic clip was a pain to remove

I tried fishing line toothpicks and was finally able to remove it using metal dental picks after 30 minutes

Once that clip was removed the watch just needed the date time and chronograph hands alignedset

It seems to work well and keeps time so far but that clip needs to be redesigned for easier removal
