The only problem is that it does not have power input which means that the usb ports on your computer are responsible to provide all juice needed by the switch and connected devices

If your usb port has limited current output you might experience connectivity issue with the devices connected to this switch

The only thing id change would be id very much prefer the remote switch port to be on the back instead of the front and have that existing port as a second usb c port

Both connections are being made on some level of usb 3
